Export your PDF and EPUB notes to Markdown.

Helicon is a reader for non-fiction PDFs and EPUBs. Pin a note in the margin, highlight a line, then send the whole book's notes and highlights as one Markdown file, to Obsidian or any app the share sheet reaches.

One file per book.

Highlights and notes from PDFs and EPUBs go under one heading each, in page order. A PDF note keeps its page number and an EPUB note keeps its place, so you can find the line again.

Write by hand, export as text.

Draw in a note with Apple Pencil or a finger, and turn handwriting into text when you want it in the export. Your books and notes stay on your device and in your own iCloud.
